My first lawsuit threat!

I thought I’d dip way back into the archives and do some lesser known thieves who kind of helped build Photo Stealers. Going through some of these ordeals helped prepare me to take on cases like Jasmine Star in the future.

The first one I’m digging into from the depths is a photographer that started out known as A & K Photography in Des Moines, Iowa. Aaron and Kari, a husband and wife team, were behind this company but I only ever interacted with Aaron.

There’s multiple name changes, my first (and not only) lawsuit threat from Aaron, attempts to pretend a business isn’t his, news stories, a mugshot… and believe it or not this spans from 2012 - 2021ish. It appears he’s thankfully (finally!) hung up the fauxtography business and is in landscaping now… maybe?
