This may be a Photo Stealers first?

Earlier this year I was sent a submission and made a post that was just a whole damn dumpster fire. Not only was Caitlin Payne aka CP Family Photography in Derby, Kansas using photos that weren’t her own for advertisements, she was also pulling no shows and backing out last minute to sessions and weddings.

Feel free to reread the post but the gist is that everything came crumbling down after Caitlin backed out of a wedding last minute on 2/18/2023. She called the client sobbing claiming her daughter had been in a car accident. Caitlin sent in a photographer who had no wedding experience and the images were not up to the standards they believed they’d get from her ads.

Caitlin posted to her Facebook, publicly, about attending a retirement party at her daughter’s school the day of the wedding and was photographed in attendance.

Needless to say, the wedding clients were not pleased and they posted on Facebook voicing their displeasure calling Caitlin a scam artist.

Shit hit the fan in the comments and it had everything from people rallying behind the OP to Caitlin’s friends wishing death on the OP. Your usual internet dumpster fire of comments.

Then, of course, was the interesting things that came to light in the comment section.
